How many hydrogen filling stations are there?

There are currently around 60 publicly accessible hydrogen filling stations in Germany. The Clean Energy Partnership is involved in setting up the first 50 H2 filling stations. A basic supply in metropolitan areas and along important transport corridors was thus secured with the support of the Federal Government under its National Innovation Programme for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NIP). In addition, the CEP partners have taken an important step towards establishing an H2 infrastructure on the market by defining globally valid standards and norms.

The joint venture H2 Mobility, in which the CEP partner companies Air Liquide, Daimler, Linde, OMV, Shell, and Total have joined forces, continues the CEP’s longstanding commitment. The partners’ initial goal is to operate 100 stations at the end of 2019.
