H2 INFRASTRUCTURE

A NETWORK OF FILLING STATIONS FOR GERMANY

Motor-racing fans know that the big races are decided at the pit stop. In order to bring H2 mobility onto the road all over Germany, a nationwide H2 infrastructure is currently being built.

The CEP laid the cornerstone for this network of filling stations by defining globally valid standards and norms. To minimise CO2 emissions, the CEP is focusing on ‘green’ hydrogen. Already, at least 50% of the hydrogen at CEP filling stations is produced using renewable energy. Just THINK what we can move with hydrogen.

REFUELLING

Uniform technical standards were defined by the industry partners in the CEP. There is a global standard for the fuelling coupling, as well as for the entire refuelling process.

Fuel cell vehicles can therefore refuel quickly and safely with gaseous hydrogen within three minutes. The refuelling process is comparable to conventional refuelling.
