4. Cookies
We use ‘cookies’ in some areas of our website. These files allow your computer to be identified as a technical unit during your visit to this website, to facilitate your use of our services – including during repeat visits. Usually, however, you have the option of adjusting your internet browser’s settings so that it notifies you when cookies are being used, so that you can accept or exclude them, or delete existing cookies. Please use your browser’s help function to get information on how to change these settings. Please note that some features of our website may not work once you have disabled the use of cookies. Cookies do not allow a server to read private information from your computer or data stored by another server. They do no harm to your computer and contain no viruses. We base the use of cookies on Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR: they are processed to improve the functioning of our website. It is therefore necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests.

The following cookies are used on our website:

Cookie type: Google Analytics Cookie
Cookie names: __utma, __utmz, _ga, _gid
Purpose: These are used by Google Analytics on the basis of a unique identification number to differentiate visitors, and expire after 2 years (__ga) or 1 day (__gid) ab.

Cookie type: Accept cookies from website
Cookie names: __cfduid, cookieconsent_status
Purpose: These cookies are used to anonymously identify your client and record whether you have taken note of the reference regarding the use of cookies. No personal data is stored or transmitted.

5. Use of Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’, text files that are stored on your computer and allows an analysis of your use of the website. The information the cookie generates about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will shorten your IP address within Member States of the European Union, or in other countries that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google uses this information to, on our behalf, evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide us with other services relating to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google. You can also prevent the data generated by the cookie and related to your usage of this website (including your IP address) from being sent to and processed by Google by downloading and installing a browser plug-in available through the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).

Please note that this website uses Google Analytics extended with the ‘_anonymizeIp()’ code, which ensures the anonymous collection of IP addresses (‘IP masking’). You can also prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the link below. This causes an opt-out cookie to be set that prevents the further collection of your data when you visit this website. This procedure is particularly recommended when accessing our site from mobile devices. For more information on terms of use and data protection, please visit www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html.

We base the use of the aforementioned analytics tool on Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR: the processing is carried for usage behaviour analysis and is therefore necessary to protect our legitimate interests.

Use of other Google services (Google Maps, Google Fonts)

On our website, we use the "Google Maps" service to display maps and the "Google Fonts" web font service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, to display fonts on the web. You can view the privacy statement of the provider at https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated=en, and you can also deactivate the transmission of data by setting an opt-out cookie at the following link: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated

6. Social plugins
We use social plugins from the social network Facebook on our website on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The underlying purpose, advertising, is to be seen as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operation must be guaranteed by the respective provider. We integrate these plugins using the ‘two-click’ method to protect visitors to our website as best as possible.
Our website uses social plugins from Facebook to personalize their use. We use the LIKE or SHARE buttons for this. This is an offer from Facebook. When you view a page on our website that contains a social plugin, your browser makes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. Facebook transmits the content of the plugin directly to your browser and integrates it into the website. This integration of the plugin informs Facebook that your browser has accessed that page on our website,  even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not currently logged on to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can directly associate your visit to our website to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the LIKE or SHARE buttons, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and displayed to your Facebook friends. Facebook may use this information for purposes of advertising, market research and demand-driven design/layout of Facebook pages. To this end, Facebook creates usage, interest and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide other services associated with Facebook use. You must log out of Facebook before visiting our website if you do not want Facebook to collect information about you via our website. Please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/) for information about the purpose and extent of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Facebook, as well your rights in this regard, and settings options for the protection of your personal privacy.

7. Use of YouTube in extended data protection mode
We use YouTube to integrate videos. They are embedded using the extended data protection mode. Like most websites, however, YouTube also uses cookies to collect information about visitors to its website. YouTube uses them, among other things, to collect video statistics, to prevent fraud and to improve user-friendliness. This also leads to a connection with the Google DoubleClick network. Starting the video can trigger further data processing processes. We have no influence on this. For more information about privacy at YouTube, please see their privacy policy at: http://www.youtube.com/t/privacy_at_youtube.

8. Rights of the data subject

You are entitled to the following rights as a data subject:
